Everybody loves a girly trip abroad, and with the gloomy weather here in the UK, we think a holiday is most certainly needed. Whether this is your first time jet-setting off to sunnier climes with your friends, or you re a seasoned traveller, there are some things that you can always expect on a girls holiday...
1. After agreeing on dates, the excitement starts immediately…seven months before you fly.
So what if it’s January? You’re ready for a holiday!
2. The WhatsApp group will be created; sunshine emojis and all.
And if you’re really dedicated, it’ll have a personalised ringtone.
3. Changing room selfies of potential holiday outfits will fill your camera roll.
This pair of sunglasses? Or this pair?
4. “Does anyone have any room in their suitcase?”
Because how realistic is 22kg for a week away?
5. The airport squad goals.
Just because it’s 5am, it doesn’t mean you can’t look fabulous.
6. Owning the fact you didn’t pay for plane seats and have to sit by yourself.
Sitting next to a baby for a four hour flight? No problem.
7. THE SELFIES.
So it begins.

9. The frantic Instagramming. Where s the Valencia filter?
If you don’t post a holiday photo, were you ever really on holiday?
10. Cocktails at 9am? That s totally okay.
Mojitos by the pool should be an everyday occurrence.

14. Packing to go home is an absolute disaster.
Why have you lost all of your clothes? Whose flip-flops are these? And where’s your passport?
15. You don’t look quite as fabulous at the airport this time.
Luckily, oversized sunglasses and a hat hide all.
16. You can’t bear to leave the girls...
After a week together, it feels like the end of an era.
17. …but actually, coming home feels quite nice.
